LODGE ST. ANDREW, 418, S.C. a'HE annual meeting , of Lodge St. Andrew was held at Freemasons' Hall last night, for the intallation of Brother John Page, R.YV.M.-elect, and the investiture of his otneers for the ensuing year, and there was a splendidly representative gathering of brethren to do honour to the mother lodge of Scottish Masonry in North New Zealand. There was a fine muster of the brethren of Lodge Sc Andrew, and these, with 36 installed Ma3ters on the dais, and visiting brethren representing all the sister lodges, madeatotalof 1-10 Masons present. Thelodge was duly opened by the R.W.M., Brother Farquhar Macrae, and after the ordinary lodge business had been dealt with and two brothers affiliated members of the Lodge, the installation ceremony commenced. Brothers the Rev. I. Gould and F. La wry presented the R.W.M.-elect to Brother Farquhar Macrae, who othciated as Installing Master, and the charges having been read by Brother M. Niccol, D.P.G.M., the lodge *ya3 advanced to the second and then to the third degree, after which a Board of Int (tailed Masters was formed and Brother Page was duly installed R.W.M. of Lodge 3t. Andrew, and on the brethren being reidmitted he was duly saluted in each iegree. Brother P.M. Hewson presented ohe working tools in the third and first degrees, and brother Macrae those in the fellow-craft degree, and he also delivered the addre&i to the master. The officerselect were then presented by Brothers Gould and Anderson, and were invested by Brother the Installing Master as follows : — p.M.,8.8. Symon; S.W., JohnM. Finlay3on; S.S., E. Dawea; J.S., J. Guthrie ; Biblebearer, J. W. Firth, sen. ; 1.G., J. Strathern ; tyler, E. Tonge. After the investiture, Brother Macrae addressed the wardens and brethren. The warmest congratulations were tendered to the master, officers, and brethren of the Lodge, and the R.W.M. rendered his heartfelt and sincere thanks to Brother Macrae for officiating as Installing Master. Brother Macrae performed the duties of the office In a solemn and impressive manner, and it was a worth v wind-up to his two years of office as R.W.M. of the Lodge for which he has done so much, and which is so largely indebted to him for its present prosperity and strength. At the urgent invitation of the master and officers, all the brethren who could conveniently do so, remained to partake of their hospitality. An excellent and appetizing spread was laid in the lower hall by Mrs. Tonge, to ■which ample justice was done. Withagreat deal of judgment and taste it was decided to dispense with any formal toast list, and the only toast proposed was that of '' The jQueen" and "Craft," which was duly "honoured, and the meeting then went in for harmony. Numbers of songs were sung, and recitations were given, and the worthy organist, Dr. Walker, played the accompaniments with great taste. A very pleasant evening was passed, and the gathering broke up after all had joined in " Auld Lang Syne."

LODGE MANUKAU. The installation of officers, Lodge Manutau, 58(j, S.C, took place in the Lodgeroom on Tuesday evening, and passed off most successfully. There was a large attendance of brethren from town, Ponsonby, Otahuhu, and other districts, and the gathering was a most representative one. The following officers were installed :— K.W.M., Brother F. Lawry, M.H.R.; 1.P.M., Brother W. C. Walker; D.M., Brother Hewson, P.M. ; S.M., Brother Brierley ; S.W., Brother Dr. Erson ; J. W., Brother Bruford ; secretary and treasurer, Brother P. Clark ; chaplain, Brother Mulgan; S.D., Brother Stephens; J.D., Brother McKinnon ; 1.G., Brother Clark; S.S , Brother Chaafe ; J.S., Brother Page ; Tyler, Brother C. V. Hill, P.M. Brother M. Niccol, D.P.G.M., acted a3 Installing Master with his wonted efficiency. After the close of the ceremony the brethren were entertained at an informal banquet provided by the brethren individually. The usual loyal and Masonic toastsj were drank, interspersed with songs, and there was a consensus of opinion that the meeting was ona of the most) successful in the annala of the Lodge,
