STOCKHOLDERS' CONFIDENT.
Pauis, December 18. The stockholders express continued contidence in M. de Lesseps, and offer to subscribe a future loan for the Panama Canal.
Paris, December 19. Thousands of people have undertaken to subscribe to future Panama Canal bonds. Many of the present holders of scrip have agreed to concede their priority interest on the capital borrowed in future. Several persons who have condemned M. de Lesseps' proposals have been assaulted by his supporters. The Cabinet have decided to make another attempt to provide assistance to the Panama Canal.
