London, December 17. The wool sales closed to day with prices unchanged. Per New Zealand, Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. London, December 17. Wool.The sales closed fairly well this day. Superior greasy has advanced id to Id per lb; medium and inferior grease have advanced id per lb barely : scourea has advanced £d to Id per lb ; medium crossbred Id per lb, and coarse crossbred to Id per lb. Lambs have advanced per lb, except faulty. The sale comprised about 155,000 bales ; 5000 bales have been held over for future disposal ; 90,000 bales have been taken for the Continent, and 3000 bales have been taken for America. Tallow.There is a fair speculative demand, but there is less trade demand. Good mutton and good beef tallows are worth 35s and 33s 3d per cwt. respectively. Wheat.—New Zealand wheat, f.a.q., is worth c.i.f.'to arrive, 39s 9d per 4Solbs. ; Cocksfoot Grass Seed—Quotations un« I changed since last telegram.
