AUSTRALIAN MARKETS.
■ Sydney, December 18. The markets are dull, due principally to the approaching holidays. One feature is the amount of imports from New Z&r 1 _ad. Since Friday no less than twelve sailing vessels and steamers have arrived hero laden with produce. The following are tb« latest quotations : —Maize has declined a penny, and is now 3s lid to 4s. Oats : In consequence of heavy shipments from New Zealand the market is easier. Best sor&r! are selling at 4s 3d; milling, 4s 6d to 4s 7d. Bran has declined to Is Id at Melbourne and Adelaide. Wheat is dull, prices ranging from 4s 6d to 4s lOd. The market is erratic, and will probably bo unsettled till after the new year. Adelaide, December 18. Roller flour £12 ; stone make, £11. Melbourne, December 18. Flour, roller make, £11 ; stone make, £1010s.
