A WELLINGTON BANKRUPTCY CASE.

[BY telegraph.—PßESS association.] Wellington, Tuesday. At a meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of William Munro, draper, Cubastreet, one creditor moved, " That it be an instruction to the Official Assignee to institute criminal proceedings against the bankrupt for such offences as he has committed against the Bankruptcy Act; and further, that the Official Assignee take steps to object to die proof ol William Munro, John Munro, and Mary Jane Cecilia Munro, and have these claimants examined before the judge." Mrs. Munro, by her agent, and John Munro voted against the resolution, which could not, therefore, be carried. Counsel for the creditors suggested an adjournment, and in the meantime he would institute proceedings himself. An adjournment was made, the Assignee stating he would, if he saw reason, take proceedings on his own motion.
