London, November 20. The wheat markets show a general decline. Prices in England have dropped 6d per quarter. The Continental mar- >• ket is weak, and the American also be- ' trays an increased weakness. The ave- J rage price of English wheat at country J markets is £1 10s lid. American vi- ( sible supply of wheat for the United < Kingdom is 24,875,000 bushels. The J quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,600,000 quarters ; for the Continent, 612,000. The following are the latest quotations for Bank of New Zealand shares, r £10. Wool is firm. For good qualities r prices will probably advance at the . opening of the next sales, especially for ± combing fleeces, in consequence of non- ,_ arrivals. The series will terminate on * December 15. t Consols, IOOg. t The Bank rate of discount is 5 per j cent., and the market rate 3j. ; Australian frozen mutton is steady at last quotations.
