ECCLESIASTICAL.
At St. Paul's to-morrow, sermon subjects by the incumbent are "The Christian's Home," and " Decently and in Order." Holy Communion will be administered at 8 a. m. and at midday. There will also be a children's service at 3.30 p.m. The anthem at evensong is Macfarren's "The Lord is My Shepherd." The offertories collected at 8 a.m., 11 a.m., and at 3.30 p.m. will be given to the Home Mission. At Epiphany Church, the Rev. Dr. O'Callaghan preaches morning and evening. In the morning, on " The Freedom of the City;"' evening, " The Bad Past Restored." Special services will be held, and collections made, in the Anglican churches tomorrow in aid of the Home Mission Fund of the diocese of Auckland. The Rev. R. Sommerville will preach at St. Peter's Presbyterian Church to-morrow; in the evening on "Is the Young Man Absalom Safe?" Home Mission services will be held at the Woslcyan Church, Grafton Road, to-morrow. The service in the morning by the Rev. E. Best; afternoon and evening, Rev. C. 11. Garland. Collections in aid of the Home Mission. Mr. Lewis having returned from the Jubilee of Congregationalism, in Melbourne, will resume his ministry at Newton ,m Sunday next. Subject: Morning, " The Secret of Growth ;" and in the evening, " The Realities of Religion." At the Mount Eden Congregational Church, View Road, Rev. Mr. Thomas will preach in the morning on "Communion," and in the evening on " Jacob and the Angel." At the Ponsonby Baptist Church, Pastor Gilmore preaches ; morning, on "Stability," and evening, " Bread." To-morrow evening, in the Franklin Ron i Church, the Rev. C. E. Ward, Grand Mast' 1 of the Orange Institution in New Zealan i will preach a special and appropriate serine, in commemoration of the landing of Willi;; r 111., Prince of Orange, on English shore 2 .. years ago. The subject of trie discourse'.; "The Enduring Name." Orangemen wii; appear in regalia. A special evangelistic service will be held to-morrow evening in the Newton Primitive Methodist Church, when addresses will be given by Mr. Roberts and Mr. Austen, of Christchurch. An efficient choir, under the tuition of Mr. Turley, will sing special hymns of Sankey's collection. Mr. C. E. Button s address to young men' in the Young Men's Christian Association rooms to-morrow afternoon will be on the " Meat Offering," one of the series of addresses on the "Sacrifices." Mr. Aldridge will lecture at the Foresters' Hall on Sunday evening on "Completed Redemption." Mr. Austen, of Christchurch, will address the Divine Healing Association on Sunday evening at 7.30 at the Young Men's Christian Association Rooms. It will be seen by an advertisement elsewhere that the Orangemen will hold a bicentenary celebration, in the Opera House, of the landing of William 111. at Torbay, on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, and the soiree 1 on Monday evening at the Fomsters'Hall.
