[press association.] Home, October 15, The Emperor William of Germany and Count Herbert Bismarck have assured the Pope that the existing treaties between Italy and ■ Germany precluded the recognition of any claim of the Vatican to temporal power. The Emperor "William to-day performed the ceremony of crowning the tomb of King Victor Emanuel. The proceedings were marked by great enthusiasm.
