A considerable number of the tourists by the mail steamer took occasion during their stay in port to visit the AucklancT Free Public Library, and expressed themselves as much pleased with the institution. Much difficulty has been experienced by many people in obtaining really good butter. This need not be, as the London Dairy Co. retail the finest fresh butter produced in the Auckland province. Depots at Victoriastreet and Mount Kden Ruuti. "The True HupiM>r' The Church : or, The Second Advent nf Our Lord,"' will be the topic of conversation at the Pitt-street Wesleyan Church on Wednesday evening.
