Chicago and Oakleigh have receded to 100 to 5 (ottered). Mentor is favourite for the -Melbourne Cup at 100 to 11 (offered); 100 to 10 wanted. For the Y.R.C. Derby Melos and Carbine coupled, have been backed at even money against, the field.
