EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS.
I [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Kaikodra, Friday. ! Yesterday morning at three o'clock a wellj defined earthquake shock or undulation was ! felt here. Two shocks were experienced i this morning at 2.20, the other 25 minutes j later. Another was felt at 140 this afterj noon. Slight shocks have been experienced ; here at intervals during the last ten days. j Westpout, Friday. Severe shocks of earthquake occurred at 2.30 this morning. Christchurch, Friday. A slight shock of earthquake was felt here at 2.24 a.m. to-day. The apparent direction was east and west, and the duration about eight seconds.
