RACE STABLES DESTROYED BY FIRE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, Wednesday. The stables belonging to Mr. W. J. Keith, at the back of the racecourse, about a mile and a half from town, were burnt down tonight. Fortunately there were no racehorses in the building. There was one trotting horse, however, burnt badly on the back. The cause of the fire is not known. It is not known whether the place was insured or not.
