It is noticeable in this big cloud of depression now over us, how the prices of all classes of goods have fallen ; alarming sacrifices, Btartling reductions, and half-price sales meet us one very hand, but it is equally noticeable that without half-price sales, startling reductions, or alarming sacrifices, Goodson'a London Arcade stands pre-eminently the cheapest place in Auckland for all the variety of goods that are to be found within the range of its alphabetical price list, obtainable upon application or posted to any address.—[A DVT.] We observe that McM&ster and ShaJders have opened by Kaikoura, from London, on* of the largest shipments they have ever had, comprising novelties in all departments— dresses, mantles, millinery, gloves (the celebrated double-stitched), ribbons, laced, etc.— also their clothing department is well stocked with men's and boys' clothing, shirts, hats, lfcO.il ties.
