NORTH NEW ZEALAND WOOLLEN MANUFACTURING COMPANY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —At the last meeting of the shareholders in the above company there was a strong feeling that everything should be done by the liquidators so that the highest price possiMe should be got for the estate. I would ask, sir, if calling for tenders on the 11th instant is carrying out the wishes of that meeting? Is it giving time for probable buyers clown South or in Australia to examine the plant and business, or is the short notice for the purpose Oi setting the estate (at a nominal price) into the hands of the new company, for which the preliminary prospectus was issued.— I am, &c, A Suffering Shareholder, Onehunga, 6th October, 18S8.
