THE REBELS REPULSED.
GRAVITY OF THE SITUATION. B . [press association.] Suakim, September 27. The rebels having received' reinforcements assaulted the fort outside the town, but were severely repulsed. Suakim, September 26. The situation here is becoming very grave, and it will require a large force to dislodge the rebels, who have thrown up earthworks within 500 yards of our forts.
