NATIVE LAND CASE.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION*.] Wellington, Friday. The Chief Justice has intimated to counsel for the plaintiffs that on Friday the Court of Appeal would give judgment in the case of Teara Takara and others v. Alexander McDonald, affirming the decision of Mr. Justice Richmond, who had decided in favour of the plaintiffs, costs to be on the highest scale. The action was brought by the original native owners of the Awahuri Block. Manawatu, to regain possession on paying the amount of the mortgage, and both the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal have; decided in their favour.
