Washington, September 19. It is expected that President Cleveland will veto the Chinese Exclusion Bill on the ground that the treaty has not yet been actually rejected by the Chinese Government.
The Senate has rejected Senator Blair's motion to annul the Chinese Exclusion Bill, conditional upon the Treaty being ratified by China.
