There are few connoisseurs whose judgment is valuable in the taste and selection of liquors. Singular to say, reliable wine-bibbers are scarce, in so far as their knowledge of quality is concerned. A counterfeit article may be so artificially doctored as to have the smack, the flavour, the delicacy of the best vintages and brands, and yet the judge pronounce on it, without being able to detect the imposition. The few choice spirits, who constitute what we may call the medical jury of the country, however, were right in their verdict about Udolpho Wolfe's Schiedam Aromatic Schnapps, and Time, the greatest and. highest tribunal, confirms the decree. s
