THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS.

London, September 6. A cricket match was commenced to-day at Scarborough between the Australian Eleven and Lord Londesborough's Eleven. The latter went first to the wickets, Eand scored 163 in their first innings. The following were the principal scorers : —Barnes, 45; Gunn, 33; Briggs, 23. Turner took three wickets for 48 runs, Ferris three for 63, Lyons three for 32. At the close of the day's play the Australians had lost one wicket for 53 runs.
