In another column the agents of the barque Coulnakyle notify that all claims against that vessel must be rendered before Monday, 10th instant. Yesterday forenoon a brigantine was signalled from Mount Victoria, and about 2.30 p.m. the well-known island trader, Ada C. Owen, arrived in port with a full cargo of fruit and other island products. Of the round trip Captain Dickson reports that the Ada C. Owen left Auckland on July 27th, reaching Rarotonga on August 11th. She discharged and re-loaded there, and got away for Auckland on the 17th, with light southerly winds. Mokohinau light was sighted at 2 a.m. on the 6th, and Tiritiri was passed at 7 a.m. yesterday. The North Head was rounded at 2 p.m., and the brigantine anchored as above.

By cable from Sydney, we learn that the three-masted schooner 1' rank Guy sailed for this port yesterday. After discharging her inward freight, yesterday, the s.s. Clansman was floated into the Auckland dock. She is to undergo her periodical overhaul, and will come out early on Monday. The s.s. lona arrived early yesterday morning from the Barrier, and left again in the evening for Mercury Bay. The direct steamer Kaikoura is due at Wellington this morning, from London via the Cape and Hobart. As yet there are no signs of the over-dne barque Trevelyan, which is 169 days out today from Glasgow, bound for Port Chalmers. J.he old superstition of seamen that it is bad luck to sail for a long voyage on a Friday, will be perhaps revived in the case of this vessel, she having left Glasgow on Friday, March -3rd. It is to be hoped that, as she is a. well-known slow sailer, she is merely delayed by vexatious winds. J-he arrival of the barque Deva, now 130 days out from London to this port, is also eagerly awaited by her agents, Messrs. Stone, Brothers.

Yesterday evening, shortly after dusk, the s.s. Stormbird arrived from her regular round trip to Whangarei, Russell, and" the North and back.
