ARRIVALS. Gairloch, s.s., McArthur, from Waitara. Passengers : Messrs. Stone, Bassett, Thompson, Skeeton, Best, Malany, Stack pole, Myers, Grant, Jackson, Percival, Moat", Robinson, and Fisher. —A. Barnes, agent. Rotorua, s.s., Neville, from the South. Passengers: Miss Fullarton, Mrs. Twohill and family (7), Mr. and Mrs. Gascoigne, Messrs. J. Pierson, Patton, and 8 steerage.— Union S.S. Co., agents. IMPORTS. Per s.s. Gairloch : 62 cattle, MX) sheep, (?) sacks potatoes, 19 trunks, 65 sacks sued, am. 18 packages. Per s.s Rotorua : 9 cases and '20 cheese, 522 sacks barley, 8 casks tallow, 3 bales fungus, 2 cases plants, 6 cases bottles, and 7 packages sundries. The Northern Co.'s s.s. Gairloch, from Waitara, arrived on Saturday evening with cargo and passengers as above. The Union Co.'s s.s. Rotorua, 926 tons, Captain K. Neville, from Dunedin via Southern ports, arrived at 10.45 a.m. yesterday morning. She left Dunedin Wharf at 3.10 p.m. on the 20th, called at Lyttelton on the'2)st, Wellington on the 22nd, Picton on the 23rd, Nelson on. the 24th, and arrived at £Jew Plymouth at 11.15 a.m. on the 25th ; took her departure again at 1.10 p.m., crossed the Manukau Bar at midnight, and anchored till 9 a.m. on the 26th coming alongside the wharf as above. She experienced light variable winds with fine weather from Dunedin to Nelson, thence to arrival strong westerly winds with heavy beam seas an 3 dull weather. The s.s. Glenelg having been detained at Wellington by bad weather will not leave for Wanganui till Wednesday.
