points to 1. A classical and popular concert will be given in St. James' Hall on Monday night, August 27th, at eight o'clock, under the direction, of Mr. Hooton, organist of Beres--street Church. Among the ladies and gentlemen Who have kindly promised assistance are the following: Misses,Bnckland, Colegrove, Chew, Davis, and Wright, Mesdames Webb and Bartlett, and Messrs J. Chew, T. M. Jackson, and F. Inn«s. A full programme will be advertised in to-morrow's Herald. The proceeds are to go towards the entire extinction of the Beresford-street Church debt.
