COURSING AT PLUMPTON PARK.
For the two coursing events—the AllAged Stakes and the St. Leger—at Plumpton Park yesterday, there was a very good attendance, and the weather, although raw and somewhat squally, did not materially interfere with the sport. The hares were on the whole in fair form, notwithstanding the rough weather of the previous day and night, and there were some good courses, although generally in favour of the dogs. The judging in several instances gave a great deal of dissatisfaction to competitors, who were prompt to express their displeasure, and one went so far as to withdraw his dogs altogether. Neither of the events could be completed for want of hares, and it will rest with the stewards to appoint ft time for their completion, there being still at least three courses to run in the All-aged Stakes and two in the St. Leger. The following are the reeulte so far as the coursing has been carried :—
