SILVER DISCOVERY IN THE SOUTH.
Chiustuiiurch, Wednesday. Considkrable interest is felt here in the discovery of silver-bearing galena in the Owen Valley. A company with a capital of £15,000 has started to work the lode, and other companies are projected. The samples assayed yielded 21 to llb'oz of silver per ton, with 50 per cent. lead.
