Written Tenders will be received at the above office up to noon of MONDAY, 3rd September, 1888, for the purchase of about 3000 tons of old rails and scrap wrought iron. Contract conditions, schedules of the material, and tonus of tender maybe obtained on application at the Railway Manager's Offices, Auckland, Napier, Wanganui, Wellington, Picton, Nelson, Westport, Christehurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill, where further information will bo given to enable tenderers to inspect the material.
