[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Wellington, Monday. At the Resident Magistrate's Court to-day Arthur Moeller, James Parker, and John Winter -were charged with assaulting and robbing Thomas McEwan early on Sunday morning. They were remanded till Friday.
Allan John Gibson and Henry Duther were committed for trial on a charge of robbery of a cash-box, containing the sum of £20 and deeds, from the Queen's Hotel, on Sunday week. A mysterious robbery is reported to have taken place from the Supreme Court lawlibrary on Thursday evening. The custodian placed a sum of £13 in a cupboard in the library, which he locked, retaining the key in his possession. In the morning the money was missing. The lock was found to be intact, and it is supposed it was opened by means of a duplicate key.
