A REMARKABLE SUICIDE.
O.N' the arrival of the 5.15 train from King'scross at Peterborough on Juno 7th the hotly of a gentleman, about 40 years of age, was found in a first-class carriage, shot through the heart, with a revolver lying by his side. On him were found two cards with the names " Robert M. K. Tiekell, Dublin Evening Mail." At the back of one was written, " Wire George Tickell, Evening Mail, Dublin, ' Your son shot himself while travelling from London towards Petersborough this morning. He is dead.' " And at the baek of the other, "On the road from London to Petersborough an ill-spent life is filly terminated by a cowardly act. —.Robert Tickell, June 9th, JLbSb."
