Brooan Gold Mining Co.—A general meeting of the shareholders of the Brogan Gold Mining Co. wae held yesterday afternoon in the office of the secretary, Mr. R. McDonald Scott, for the purpose of electing directors for the ensuing year. The chair was taken by Mr. McFarlane, and after reading the advertisement calling the meeting, and confirming the minutes, the directors were elected as follows :—Messrs. H. Green, James McFarlane, Aitken, Carrick, Michael Browne, Samuel Turtle, and John Edward Banks. After having made the elections, the shareholders informally discussed the working of the mine, md the meeting concluded. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Cambria.—Cleaning up and retorting took place on Wednesday for the following return : —to" loads of quartz crushed for 41oz iOdwt; 19 loads of tailings, 10oz :idwt; seven loads trial from old tip, loz 9dwt; gold left to pay for crushing three loads quartz, 15dwt; retorted gold, 530z 17dwr,; melted gold, 530z 7dwt.
