SERIOUS TRAMGAR ACCIDENT
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. A serious accident happened to a man named William Greenfield, plasterer, on Saturday evening about twenty minutes past six. He was crossing the road when lie was knocked down by a horse attached to a tramcar, which had just turned a corner. The injured man, who was in an insensible condition, was taken to the hospital. He recovered consciousness some time after, but it is thought that his injuries are rather of a, serious nature.
