IRISH EXHIBITION IN LONDON.

Thkiik is to be a singular exhibition at Olympia, in the shape of an Irish village, to consist, among other things, of a dozen cottages built and thatched by native workmen in tho true Donegal fashion. They will be arranged so as to form a picturesque village street, irregular in plan. In the centre of the street will be seen the " holy well" and a veritable cross brought over from Ireland. At the western part of the village, facing the visitor on entering, will be the ruins of a low Irish tower. The cottages themselves will be occupied by native Irish workers—men, women, and children—who will pass in them their ordinary daily routine of life. One exhibit will consist of an Irish farmhouse, and a dairy also, which is to be run with the milk of no less than sixty cows. The Rev. (.'anon Bagot has undertaken the superintendence of this section, and proposes to give a regular series of lectures on dairying, and will illustrate his lectures by demonstrations. lie will bring over a party of Irish dairymaids. Canon Bagot will also be prepared, under certain regulations, to take advantage of this opportunity, during the live months the exhibition will he open, to train English girls in Irish dairy work, the Government having agreed to send over one of their staff of official instructors. Londoners and others will thus have an opportunity not only of seeing a specimen of an Irish village, but also of dairy operation? carried on in a scientific manner, Canon Bagot being an adept at dairy work.
