WELLINGTON POULTRY SHOW

[by TKLKGRAPH.—PRKSS ASSOCIATION'.] Wellington, Thursday. The fifth annual show of the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Association, opened to-day. The weather was cold, with frequent showers, which militated against a good attendance. The entries numbered 500, which is larger than on any previous occasion, and the exhibition of poultry is unusually fine and large. Pigeons also maintain their standard of excellence ; but in canary classes there is a great falling oil' in number, principally owing to one or two of the leading fancieis having decided not to exhibit this year.
