MYSTERIOUS DROWNING CASE.

, [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS association.] Wellington, Tuesday. The body of James Bruce Wallace was found this afternoon on the foreshore at Te Aro. There was a large gash over the right temple, and other minor bruises on the face. It is believed that these were caused by his falling off the breastwork. The deceased was an old and well-known colonist, and was 69 years of age. He was last seen alive yesterday afternoon, when he expressed his intention of seeing some friends off to Melbourne.
