Sydney, July 20. A serious fire broke out in the Chinese quarter at Waterloo, this evening, destroying thirty buildings. One Chinaman was severely burnt, and lies in a critical condition. The Government are considering the statements made by Admiral Field, in the House of Commons, that any number of men in the Victorian Assembly could be bribed.
