HORSES FOR INDIA.

Wellington, Thursday. Great regret is felt that the first shipment of horses by the Te Kapo for the Indian market should have been attended by such mortality as the loss of thirty-five horses in a thirty-two days' passage. It is presumed that she arrived in hot weather at Calcutta.
