TREATMENT OF REFRACTORY ORES.
GOVERNMENT BONUS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Thursday. The Minister of Mines is likely to give effect to the request of Mr. Peacock, that a bonus be offered for the treatment of refractory ores. The bonus will be given on conditions now being framed by the department, on somewhat the same lines as indicated in the precis of the Parkes' correspondence already telegraphed.
