TWO STRANGE DEATHS
ALLEGED POISONING.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES.

Sydney, July 10. • . A suspicious death has been reported to the police as having ' occurred at Botany, and is now under investigation. A man named Collins died on Sunday,and the doctor who was called in expressed the opinion that death was caused by some irritant poison. Mrs. Collins' first husband, a man named Andrews, died thirteen months ago, and his widow married Collins a few days later. The doctors in both: cases were puzzled by the symptoms, and upon comparing notes are of opinion that both deaths were attended; by similarly suspicious circumstances. Andrews, the first husband, had hia' life insured.
An inquest was commenced to-day, but was adjourned for an analysis of the contents of the stomach.
