CHEAP RAILWAY FARES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, Backing up what "Country Settler " says in his letter of this morning, m> view as a townsman is still more convincing. Now I would like to live a few miles along the line. Suppose I could obtain a family ticket for £20 instead of £40, I should soon be a source of revenue to the railway, and to the same neighbourhood there would soon be '20 families more, making an income of £400 a-year without increasing the cost to the railway. Facilities make traffic. The public will never be batisfied that the authorities have done their best" till they have tried Yaile's or some such plan.—l am, &c., Business.
