TO THE KDITOR.
Sir,—May I ask why Dr. Purchas removed Mrs. Freestone's eye if he found the cornea intact (meaning quite healthy), including a perfect iris, &c, &c, which ho asserted in hie evidence? Surely the little irritation present was not sufficient to justify a doctor in removing a sound eye I am, &c, John Wilkiks.
