London, June 14. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve in notes and bullion at £13,500,000, and the proportion of reserve to liabilities at 43 per cent. " The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,470,000 quarters, and for the Continent 720,000 quarters. Wheat: Prices are dropping. An oft'-coast Australian cargo in iron bottom sold at 32s 9d. American parcels are firm.
Leather is quoted at 10|d. Tin is £80 10s. Copper, Chili bars, £78 10s. London, June 15. Kauri gum is flat. Tallow : Mutton, 24s ; beef, 235. Sugar : German beet, 13s 6d. Hides, 3§d to 3fd. The rain during the past few days is improving the prospects of the hop
crop. The wheat prospects are more favourable.
