LOST IN THE BUSH.
[BY TELEGRAni.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Manaia, Friday. John McLean, a sottler, was lost whilst cattle-hunting oh the slopes of Egmont, in tho bush, from Monday until Friday last week, subsisting on berries, and part of the time on the flesh of cattle killed. The weather was very severe, and when McLean's reached a sottler's house he had nearly lost the power of speech. Twice after travelling a considerable time he found himself back at the point where he had shot a beast.
