Australian wheat, ex warehouse, is 34s 9d; for due cargoes, 33s 3d is offered ; and 33s 9d is required for off the coast cargoes. All have been sold. New Zealand wheat, long berried, is 34s 3d. New Zealand flour, patent, is 22s 6d ; Australian superfine is 245, ex store. Tallow : Mutton is 24s ; beef, 235. Chilian copper, £83 per ton. Tin, Straits, is £81 ss; Australian, £84 10s. Pig iron is 42s 9d per cwt. Sugar, German, is £14 3s ; Java, £15 6s per ton. Sydney, June 11. Commercial advices from London to May 4th show that New Zealand frozen mutton was bringing 2s 6d to 2s 8d per 81b ; North Canterbury carcases fetching 2s 7d to 2s 9d. Preserved meats had slightly improved. New Zealand butter (grease) was 28s to 30s; stale, 46s to 50s; New Zealand cheese was inquired for, bub there was none in the market.
