[by TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Tim Ann, Monday. Mr. James Bruce, the well-known miller, was this morning charged with removing a truck from the railway lino without authority. He received by rail a ten-ton boiler for his mill, and it was run on to his siding. He laid down a track at right angles to the siding without i. turntable, and by means of spear-legs and tackle lifted up the boiler, lifted a truck on to his private track, and on it ran the boiler to its place in the mill, 40 or 50 feet away. The defence was that he never thought of asking for permission, as he had done a precisely similar _ thing before, and nothing was said about it. It was admitted that the truck was not damaged.
