CRIMINAL CALENDAR.
The following is the list of cases set down for hearing at tho criminal sittings of the Supreme Court, which commence at 11 o'clock on Monday. There are in all 22 cases : —Henry Thornton Howe, attempb to carnally know a child under 12 years of age ; Henry Smith and John Kelly, arson ; William Nelson, larceny ; Albert Octavius Stodart, forging and uttering ; Hernia Ngakohatu and Te Kura, false pretences ; Pine Awanui and Potahi Natana, false pretences ; Pine Awanui and Teare Taotoa, false pretences ; Hemi Ngawaka and Pine Awanui, false pretences ; Kgara Rawhati, Hemi, and Pine Awanui, false pretences ; Tame Ngawaka and Pine .Awanui, false pretences ; David Asher, false pretences (two charges); Hotu Kapihana, rape; John Phillips and Frank Walton, forging and uttering; Nicholas Hand, Henry Arthur, and Alfred William Cracknoll, assault and robbery ; Robert Johnston and Edward Mumford; breaking and entering ; Bridget Johnston, receiving stolen property; Thomas Kennedy, horse - stealing ; Edward Howell, horse-stealing ; William Smith, horse-steal-ing ; Henry Palmer, indecent acsault; Robert Foster, alias George McKay, forging and uttering ; Horace Wood, breaking and entering.
