A difficulty has arisen with Italy, in consequence of the Sultan declining the free cession of Kurnaya to Italy. THE COPPER SYNDICATE. London, June 7. The French banks are supporting the copper syndicate to the extent of £7.000,000, in order to enable them to hold 100,000 tons. THE PAN-ANGLICAN SYNOD. London, June 6. The Pan-Anglican Synod commences its sittings on July 3. One hundred and forty bishops from all parts are present. JOHN BRIGHT. London, June 6. Mr. John Bright is now out of danger. MR. STEAD AND THE CZAR. London, June 6. Mr. Stead, the editor or the Pall Mall Gazette, has had a private interview with the Czar, and discussed the European situation.
