NEW ZEALAND TRADESMEN'S TOKENS.

TO the editor.

Sir, —I am in correspondence with the head of the Numismatic Department in the British Museum, with regard to a collection of New Zealand tradesmen's copper tokens. He writes mo by last mail, "Our other towns are apparently complete with the exception of Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington, of which we have fifteen, eleven, and seven specimens respectively, as against Stanisfield's nineteen, fourteen, and eleven." It will be seen from this extract that the British Museum has only fifteen out ot nineteen Auckland tokens. Can any of your readers send me a list of the Auckland tokens for transmission to London ? I have several of them myself, and am picking them up as occasion offers. —I am, etc. " RH. Bakewell, M.D. Hobson-street, May 26.
