THE COOKS STRAITS CABLE.
[BY TELEGKArH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Friday. Examination shows that the Cook's Straits cable has been broken in three parts, and the greater portion of it will have to be taken up and overhauled, which will probably occupy a month. The Sherard Oβborne goes on again to-morrow morning to resume operations.
