Brogan Licensed Holding, WhangaMATA.—A meeting of shareholders was held yesterday at the office of Mr. R. McDonald Scott, New Zealand Insurance Buildings. Mr. A. Carrick occupied the chair. Advertisement calling the meeting was read. It was resolved to form a company to work the claim, to be called " Tho Brogan Goldmining Company, Limited," with a nominal capital of £15,500, in 31,000 scrip shares, at 10s each, nil paid up. The following appointments were made : —Messrs. H. Green, J. Macfarlane, A. Carrick, M. Browne, S. Turtle, and J. E. Banks to be directors; Mr. R. McDonald Scott, secretary; Mr. T. A. Menzies, auditor; the Bank of New Zealand, bankers ; and Messrs. Jackson and Russell to be the company's solicitors. There was a full attendance of shareholders, who accorded a vote of thanks to the chairman, which closed the proceedings. MINE'MANAGERS' REPORTS. Cambria.—The crosscut at No. 4 level is now in a distance of 404 feet from the shaft. This crosscut is going through splendidlooking sandstone country. The winze on the main reef below No. 3 level is down a depth of 74 feet. There is some nice-looking mineral through the hangiftgwall portion of the reef. The rise on tne main reef above No. 3 level is up a height of 34 feet. There is some nice-looking mineral through the hangingwall portion of the reef. Colours of gold wore seen in the stringers on the hangingwall side of the reef. The second stone west on No. 7 leader is along 80 feet. Tne leader in the face of this stope is rather split up at present. Colours of gold seen through the quartz when breaking down the leader. The sixth stope east on No. 1 leader is along 42 _ feet. The leader in tho face of this stope is about 12 inches in thickness. Colours of gold were seen when breaking down the leader. The eleventh stope east on No. 1 leader is along 24 feet. The leader in the face of this stope is about 9 inches in thickness. Colours of gold were seen through the quartz when breaking down the leader. The eleventh stope west on the No. 1 leader is along 50 feet. The leader in the face of this stope is 2 feet in thickness. Gold was seen through the quartz when breaking down the leader. The twelfth stope on No. 6 leader is along 37 feet, and the thirteenth stope is along 8 feet. Gold was seen freely through the quartz in both stones when breaking clown the leader. 51b picked stone came to hand from here during the week. 77 loads of quartz have been crushed during the week, for the return of 2350z .of amalgam, and the tailings from the berdans yielded 17oz of amalgam. The battery, winding engine, and air compressor are in good working order. The mine manager wired yesterday :— 161 loads quartz crushed for 1560z gold, '251b of picked stone for 290z gold : total, 185oz." New Manukau.Started a new stope west of winze. No. 5 lode, last week, and about 101b of picked stone were bagged; expect to get some more this week. Finished timbering drive on Mulligan's lode; forming passes and squaring up bottom of winze on same this week. No change here yet to report. Saxon.— following telegram was received from the mine manager yesterday — 251b picked stone, Bth stope hillwara of rise, No. 4 level. ,
