... Vienna, May 6. The special military estimates brought down by the Government amount to fifty-four million florins. IRISH AFFAIRS. London, May 7. The Freeman has published a statement on the authority of an interviewer with Cardinal Moran, of Sydney, that the Irish ought to disregard the command of the Pope, if it condemns the Nationalist movement. It declares for autonomy, and says the agitation must continue until it is secured. H.M.S. SERAPIS. London, May 6. A number of the crew of H.M.3. Serapis have been arrested for refusing duty, whereby they endangered the safety of the vessel.
