POLITICAL GOSSIP.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Saturday. Ministers eat in Cabinet to-day from ha'.fpast ten a.m. to one p.m.; also from two p.m. to half-past fivo p.m., and a third sitting of tha Cabinet will bo hold this evening, at tho official residence of the Premier. All sorts of reports are circulated. Tho one that finds tno greatest favour is that Ministers are in an " unhappy frame of mind." Tho phrase does not appear to me to have any meaning. Nothing hits occurred to justify such a rumour. Considered as a whole, tho Government to all appearances is as strong now as at any previous date since its formation.
