The Company is formed for the purposes of acquiring and developing the properties known as Marototo Extended Nos. 1 and 2, Reiiiuera Nos. 1 and 2, Nelson, Calliope, Tiger, Excelsior, Teutonic, Ohinomuri, and Just in 'lime ; thee blocks comprise an area of 55acres, and are situated to the west and north of the Marototo Gold and Silver Mining Company's claim. PROSPECTS. It will be seen that the position of the property is such that, almost for a certainty, the "Marototo" and "Jackson" lodes, which are known to be especially rich, pass, together with several unprospected lodes, through these leases. The Company, partaking of a prospecting character, and the claim being of such large area, it is not unlikely that portions may be sold and other Companies formed at a great profit to the North Maritoto Amalgamated Leases Gold and Silver Mining Company. Tho Mining Engineers, Messrs. Cox and Seaver, and other authorities speak very highly of the prospects of the district. It is proposed that immediately 40,000 Shares are subscribed that tho Company shall be considered formed. Fifty thousand shares wore applied for in Sydney" in a short time, and 10,000 snares are reserved for New Zealand.
